jQuery
Added some javascript via jQuery library to improve user experience on the site regarding the left menu. I like it. Let's see what the jury thinks.

Banners
Sharp-eyed users will note that TRC banners are not strictly advertisements. They may be a product involved, but it is always TR-related, whether music by a TR-Fan, a TR-related event or product, or whatever else pops up. I don't ask for a fee for these banners, but have accepted sample copies of product, and occasionally, the "advertiser" will make a contribution to the TR Connection PayPal account.
I've worked up a new banner application, although it won't necessarily be visible to anyone that there are any differences. It just makes it easier on me to put up a new banners. I'll be working on it some more, too, to develop some unique features.
I accidentally introduced a bug which affected some banners display. Found it and killed the bug.

Photo Gallery
Looks like some tour tags are not in the database. Better get that fixed!
Tour tags fixed, but still some sorting errors for Tours/Shows.
Now those are fixed!
Forgot that 2010 begins a new decade, so I better get to converting everything else that was credited to "The 2000's"
Turns out, I have been crediting 2010 photos as "decade2010." Just didn't have a label for it. That's been fixed.

Background images
The background images hidden behind the content of the TR Connection are selected at random from several that I created in the TRC's early days. They date back to 1996. It's time to update them.

Productions
I rediscovered an application I had written that uses the Scott Sheppard Utopian Discography and displays it from a database and not from the original text file.
http://trconnection.com/todd/newprod.pl
I updated it to see beyond the year 2000, but it needs a bit of an overhaul.
In the process, I discovered a few technical errors in Scott's original list, and fixed them as well.

The TR Connection has a blog?
It does now!
But... what you expect is not necessarily what you're going to get. This blog is to document activities related to the maintenance of the TR Connection web site and is not specific to Todd Rundgren news.
That being said, I will probably find it more interesting than anyone else, as it will allow me to document some of the features I've developed in the past and will continue to develop in the future regarding the web site. In addition, any new TR web sites that I may be involved in will also be documented here as well.
What prompted me to create this blog was the recent activity I've been engaged in for automating/consolidating editing tasks that I use for updating the content of the main TRC site. In doing so, I've discovered some older technologies that I developed that have waned in maintenance, but still have function and potential interest. I'll be talking about some of these in blog posts of the future.
